Please Give The Movie tells the story of the time when everything is calculated based on the money, everything was so worthless. Not many people realize that everything has been so completely materialistic until they become one of deprivation and no matter how small a sincere help will be very meaningful for them.

Kate (Catherine Keener) has also experienced a less the same inner struggle despite her economic condition is hardly bad.
